Byewood

Byewood is a two-bedroom cottage in Braunton, refurbished in 2023 and set up for four guests. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area forms the main living space, with a wood burner (first basket of logs included) and a Smart TV. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a Nespresso Vertuo machine, along with an Amazon Echo Dot.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom has its own en-suite shower room and WC, while the double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and separate WC. Both rooms are reached via stairs, so the property will not suit guests who cannot manage them.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with a private decked seating area and a gas barbecue. A grassed section, shared with the owners, leads to a private hot tub with robes provided. Washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in a separate outbuilding, accessed across the shared garden. There is storage space for bikes, golf clubs or surfboards, plus private parking for one car.

Bookings do not accept children under 12, and up to two dogs are welcome with additional charges possibly applying. Internet access is available. Shops and pubs are within a mile, with a beach around two miles away.
