Croyde Cottage at South Lobb Farm

Croyde Cottage sits at South Lobb Farm in the hamlet of Lobb, close to Braunton and within reach of Croyde and Saunton Beach. The property is one of several barn conversions on the farm, sharing outdoor space with the neighbouring properties, so guests should expect a courtyard and garden used in common rather than exclusively private grounds.

Inside, a hallway leads to a fitted kitchen/diner and a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The living area has comfortable seating and a Smart TV. On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with an extra single day bed, alongside a shower room; upstairs, a king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be arranged as two singles on request) is served by a bathroom with bath and WC. The property sleeps four in total, and the day bed does not add to this capacity.

Outside, guests share a courtyard with bistro seating and a barbecue, plus a communal garden with a children's play area and an on-site electric vehicle charging point. The main draw is the shared heated outdoor swimming pool, open daily from 1 May to 30 September. Private parking is provided for two cars, and storage is available for bikes, beach gear, surfboards and wetsuits. Wi-fi is available at the property.

Two dogs are welcome here, though additional charges may apply, and they must be kept on a lead in all outdoor areas at all times, as the courtyard and play field are unfenced and the farm backs onto grazing land. A pub and shop are around a mile away, with the beach roughly two miles distant. Check-in is from 5pm and check-out by 10am, with earlier arrival sometimes available on request.
