Pilchard Cottage

Pilchard Cottage sits on one of the winding streets of Brixham, a renovated one-bedroom fisherman's cottage with exposed timber beams and a painted stone wall running through the open-plan living space. A contemporary breakfast bar overlooks the compact kitchen, and the shop and pub are both around 0.1 miles away, close enough for an evening stroll.

The ground floor holds the open-plan living area, with a sofa for evenings in front of the TV, a Bluetooth speaker for music, and an electric oven with a two-ring electric hob for cooking. Upstairs is the double bedroom, lit by skylights and with more exposed stone, along with a shower room with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail.

Gas central heating runs through the cottage, backed up by an electric fire in the living space, and fuel and power are included in the rent along with bed linen and towels. WiFi covers the whole property for evenings in or catching up on messages while you plan the next day out.

Pilchard Cottage doesn't accept pets, and smoking isn't permitted anywhere on site. With the harbour, the Golden Hind replica and Brixham Breakwater all close by, it makes a compact base for two exploring the town on foot, with Paignton and Dartmouth both within reach for a day trip.
