Phoenix House

This detached house near South Molton sleeps up to eight across three floors, making it suited to a family gathering or a group of friends sharing. A hallway WC sits near the entrance, with a split-level ground floor holding a kitchen/diner on one side and an open-plan lounge on the other, the latter warmed by a wood burner (first basket of logs provided) and fitted with a Smart TV. A lower level of the lounge opens to sofa seating looking out over the garden.

Upstairs, the first floor holds two double bedrooms and a twin zip-and-link room that can be converted to super-king-size on request, all served by a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The top floor is given over to a king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, giving three bathrooms in total across the house.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer, and the property runs on a private water supply. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger visitors. Outside, the stock-fenced, enclosed garden has a large lawn with swings, a patio furnished with a rattan corner suite and dining table, and a charcoal barbecue for outdoor meals.

Parking is provided on site for up to five cars, and internet access is available at the property. Up to two dogs can stay, though they must remain on a lead at all times while outside due to livestock in the adjacent fields, and additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am, with pubs, shops and a supermarket within a few miles.
