Gander Cottage

Gander Cottage is a converted barn set within a small complex of five properties near Kings Nympton, close to South Molton. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: a twin room on the ground floor with its own en-suite WC, and a king-size plus a further twin bedroom upstairs, served by a family bathroom with a shower over bath and WC.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner forms the heart of the barn, with comfortable sofas around a TV/DVD and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests, making this a practical option for families.

Outside, a small enclosed patio to the rear has a charcoal barbecue, a fire pit and garden furniture, with logs and charcoal available to purchase on site. Neighbouring gardens across the complex are divided by picket-fence gates. A hot tub can be booked directly with the owner for two hours at an additional cost of £45, and a private off-road parking space is provided for one car, with an extra charge of £15 payable if a second car is brought.

Shared facilities across the complex include a children's play area and play barn, a summerhouse, a laundry room with rotary clotheslines, and a dog exercise field, useful given that up to two dogs are welcome here at an additional charge. Free-ranging chickens roam the grounds, so dogs need to stay on a lead outdoors. Wifi is available, and a pub sits within easy walking distance.
