Partridge Cottage

Sleeping six across three bedrooms, Partridge Cottage sits among the Widmouth Farm Cottages near Ilfracombe, a couple of miles from the village of Berrynarbor. A king-size and a twin bedroom are upstairs with bay views, while a ground-floor room holds adult bunks next to the bathroom with bath and shower. Check-in runs from 4pm.

The sitting room has a wood burning stove alongside a dining area, and a private enclosed garden at the side comes with furniture and sea views over the bay. The farm's shared private beach is roughly 500 yards away, along with a picnic area, dog exercise field and playground shared with the other Widmouth cottages on site.

The kitchen runs on gas central heating plus the wood burner, with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge, and a Smart TV with WiFi in the sitting room. Off-road parking is provided at a designated space, and laundry goes through a shared utility room with coin-operated washing machines, a tumble dryer, a fridge, freezer and iron. A travel cot, stairgate and highchair can be requested. Being in a fairly secluded spot, streaming over WiFi can sometimes be slower, though browsing and messaging are unaffected.

Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome. The owner sets a minimum stay of three nights, and changeover days vary by season, and smoking isn't allowed. Shop and pub are around 1.5 miles away.
