Banksy's Retreat

Banksy's Retreat is a single-storey lodge in Mullacott Park, a short distance from Ilfracombe. An open-plan living space runs the length of the lodge, with the kitchen, dining and sitting areas combined into one sociable room, a Smart TV in the sitting area and further TVs elsewhere in the lodge.

Of the three double bedrooms, one has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and the other two each have a TV. A family bathroom with a bath and shower over serves the remaining bedrooms. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and coffee machine, and gas central heating covers the lodge.

Outside, an enclosed decking area with furniture gives a spot to sit out, and off-road parking is provided for two cars. Electric vehicles cannot be charged at the lodge, and doing so anyway brings a charge based on electricity used.

Banksy's Retreat welcomes one well-behaved pet. The shop is around 0.1 miles away and the pub about 0.5 miles, with the market town of Barnstaple within easy reach for a wider choice of shops and restaurants. Smoking is not permitted, and a housekeeping bond applies to the booking, so it's worth factoring into plans for the stay.
