The large sitting room has wide views over the sea, with generous sofas and a Smart TV for evenings in. Bookings run to a minimum of three nights, and in July, August and September only weekly stays starting on a Friday can be taken.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped, including a wine chiller, and seats six at the dining table. A separate utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer. Two of the three bedrooms are king-size, one with its own en-suite shower room, and the third is a twin; the main bathroom has a bath and an overhead shower.

Outside, a communal garden area has a patio and furniture, with private gated steps leading down to the sea and rocks below, and care is needed as the steps are old and uneven. Off-road parking is available for one small or medium car, with larger public car parks a few minutes' walk away.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome at 1 Cheyne Beach Apartments. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop is 0.3 miles away with the pub and beach both around 0.1 miles. Mind your head on the low overhang at the front door, where a short flight of steps leads down into the apartment.
