Parsonage Cottage

Parsonage Cottage is one of nine properties forming a small farm complex at the top of the Sterridge Valley, close to Berrynarbor and within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The single-level cottage sits in an elevated spot looking out over open countryside, with the working farm's sheep, cows and resident donkeys and pony grazing the surrounding meadows.

Inside, an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner sits under exposed beams, with a sofa, TV and DVD player in the lounge and an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine in the kitchen. The one double bedroom and the bathroom, with shower over bath and WC, complete the accommodation, all on one level suited to two guests.

Outside, guests have their own patio with a picnic table and charcoal barbecue, plus access to a shared lawn with outdoor seating used by other cottages on site. The complex also has a shared indoor heated swimming pool, open 9am to 6pm, with a sunken hot tub available all year and a sauna offered during the off-peak season, along with changing and shower facilities. An enclosed children's play area with a trampoline and swings sits alongside a games barn with table tennis, pool and table football.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and two dogs are welcome with additional charges applying. Wifi is available, and travel cots and highchairs can be requested for younger guests. The nearest beach, shop and pub are a short drive away, with a village post office and pub closer still.
