Moules Farm - The Old Dogs House

The Old Dogs House sits on the owner's working farm in a quiet countryside setting close to Berrynarbor, within walking distance of the village shop and pub. This former barn has been converted into a compact retreat for two, with the ground floor given over to an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen area looks out over the garden and is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, so self-catering guests are well provided for. A dining table seats two, alongside a sofa and TV/DVD in the lounge. The bathroom, with shower-over-bath and WC, is also on this level.

Open-tread wooden stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom, furnished with a king-size bed and overlooking the living space below. Sloping ceilings mean headroom is restricted in places, which is worth bearing in mind for taller guests. Outside, a private enclosed patio garden with furniture offers a spot for meals or a quiet drink outdoors.

Practical arrangements include private off-road parking and wi-fi included throughout the stay. Bed linen, electricity and heating are all part of the booking, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request. One dog is welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:30 and departure before 10:00.
