Lee Copse Cottage sits in the grounds of the owner's home near Ilfracombe in North Devon, set within over 2 acres of natural woodland. Sleeping four across a double bedroom and a twin, the interior accommodation is arranged on a single level. Access is by a steep, narrow driveway, and the site cannot accommodate long vehicles, large vans, trailers or motorhomes. Private parking is available for one car, with turning space on site.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area forms the heart of the property, with windows and doors bringing in generous light. A wood burner takes the chill off cooler evenings and the first basket of logs is supplied. A Smart TV sits in the lounge for quieter nights in. The kitchen carries an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes the accommodation. Travel cot and highchair are available on request, and no dogs are permitted.

Two external steps lead down from the kitchen to a small stone patio with a table, chairs and a BBQ, suited to meals outside with open countryside views. A small terrace with a bench gives a separate spot for a morning coffee. Woodland paths start directly outside the front door, winding through the 2-acre site where birds and wildlife, including the occasional deer, may be spotted. A pub and village shop are less than 500 metres away.

Combe Martin Beach, around 1.5 miles away, is well regarded for paddleboarding and seal spotting. Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton offer golden sands and water sports further along the coast, all within 15 miles. Watermouth Castle and the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park at Combe Martin are practical family day-trip options, while Exmoor National Park is around 7.5 miles for hiking and cycling routes.
