Fiddlesticks

Fiddlesticks is a single-level cottage forming part of a small complex of nine properties on a working farm near Berrynarbor, in the Sterridge Valley within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A few steps lead in to an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, with a step down to the double bedroom and bathroom.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine, and the lounge has a TV and DVD player. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath and a WC. Outside is a private gravelled area with a picnic table and access to a charcoal barbecue, plus a lawn shared with the other cottages on site.

Guests can use the shared indoor heated swimming pool, open from 9am to 6pm, along with a sunken hot tub available year-round and a sauna that operates only outside peak season. There is also a games barn with table tennis, pool table and table football, an outdoor children's play area with a trampoline and swings, and 18 acres of gardens and paddocks to explore, where resident donkeys, a pony, sheep and cows can be seen grazing.

This cottage sleeps two and welcomes up to two dogs, with additional charges applying. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and internet access is available. The nearest beach, shop and pub are around 3 miles away, with a village post office and pub roughly 2 miles from the property. Arrival is from 4.30pm and departure is by 10am.
