Old Spot

Old Spot is a detached contemporary cabin sleeping four, set within the gated grounds of The Pig On The Hill pub near Westward Ho. The open-plan living area combines a lounge, kitchen and dining space, with sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner with the first basket of logs provided. Bi-fold doors from the dining table lead out to the decked terrace, and the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge.

The two bedrooms are a double, whose own bi-fold doors open directly onto the terrace, and a twin room with zip-and-link beds that can be converted to a Super King-size on request. There is one shower room with WC. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating are all included in the rate.

Outside, a fully enclosed decked terrace sits to the rear of the cabin and houses a private sunken hot tub along with garden furniture. A gas Weber BBQ is available on request. Parking is ample on a private shared driveway serving the five cabins on site. Laundry facilities, including a washing machine and tumble dryer, are available in a communal laundry room on an honesty-box basis. No dogs are permitted.

The on-site Pig On The Hill is an award-winning pub and restaurant offering eat-in meals and takeaway services to cabin guests, subject to opening times. A private chef can also be arranged if enquired about before booking. The town of Westward Ho, roughly a mile away, has a two-mile sandy beach, a surf school and a range of shops, cafes and restaurants. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure by 10:00.
