Oaklea - Woolacombe

Oaklea sits within easy reach of the sand at Woolacombe, with the beach, shops, cafes and the South West Coast Path all around 500 metres away. This four-bedroom holiday home sleeps eight and suits family groups wanting a coastal base with both sociable spaces and quieter corners for retreating.

The lounge has a Smart TV and wood burner, with large windows looking over countryside rather than the street. The kitchen is fitted with a double electric oven, dishwasher and microwave, and there's a large dining table for group meals. A separate utility room houses a washing machine and a ground-floor WC, kept apart from the two proper bathrooms upstairs.

Bedrooms comprise a king-size room, a second king-size zip-and-link room that can convert to twin 2'6" beds, a double, and an attic twin room with its own desk and en-suite shower room. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. A travel cot, stairgate and highchair are available on request, useful for stays with younger children.

Outside, a south-facing front area and a private rear patio give two distinct spots for sitting out, with garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ and a heated outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Storage is provided for surfboards, bikes and beach kit. A private games room with table tennis and a dartboard offers a rainy-day option, and a seasonal hot tub can be booked directly with the owner for an extra charge. Parking is available for up to four cars on the driveway. Up to three dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.
