Oak Lodge

Oak Lodge sits within a small complex of lodges close to Okehampton, sleeping up to four guests across two bedrooms. The double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room and WC, while the twin bedroom shares a separate downstairs bathroom fitted with a shower over bath and WC.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner is a practical space for a short stay, with a Smart TV, an electric fire and French doors leading out to the decking. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, so self-catering is straightforward for the duration of a stay.

Outside, the gated decked area gives onto a private hot tub and garden furniture, making it a suitable spot to unwind after a day out. A barbecue can be hired on request for a charge, payable directly to the owner, with part of the fee refunded if it is returned clean. Shops and a supermarket are around a mile away, and there is an on-site Italian restaurant for evenings when guests prefer not to cook.

Okehampton is a short drive away and offers a leisure centre with an indoor heated pool, along with cafes and local shops. Ample parking is provided at the lodge, and up to three dogs can stay with additional charges applying. A travel cot and highchair are available, and there is a children's play area nearby, making this a workable base for families travelling with young children or pets.
