Northwood Barn

Northwood Barn sits 2.8 miles from Okehampton, on the northern fringe of Dartmoor, with ample off-road parking for up to 4 cars. Guests enter through a stable door into an open-plan kitchen and dining space, with a separate sitting room warmed by a flame-effect electric fire.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with a Smart TV, served by a single bathroom with a bath and a shower over. The bathroom has restricted head height, worth knowing if anyone in your group is tall. The cottage sleeps 4 and takes one child only, so it suits two couples or a small family rather than a larger group.

The kitchen has an electric oven and ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge with ice box, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and the sitting room has two Smart TVs and WiFi. Oil central heating covers the property, with fuel and power included in the rent, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Northwood Barn takes one well-behaved dog. The enclosed garden has a patio, furniture and a barbecue for evenings outdoors. Smoking is not permitted, and bookings run to a three-night minimum for short breaks, with the nearest shop 2.4 miles away and a pub 1.2 miles away.
