Monterey Mews

Monterey Mews is a detached mews cottage set next to the owner's Victorian villa in Torquay, named for the large Monterey tree visible from the living space. The cottage sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with an enclosed courtyard as the only outdoor space.

A double bedroom with an en-suite bath, shower over and heated towel rail sits on the ground floor by the front door. Upstairs, the first-floor living space is open-plan with light from Velux skylights in the sloping ceilings, a circular dining table for board games, and a Juliet balcony. A further double and twin bedroom, both with round porthole windows, share a shower room off the hallway.

The kitchen has wood-effect worktops with a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and the sitting area has a TV with DVD player and WiFi. A highchair, stairgate and travel cot are available on request. Off-road parking is provided for one car, with additional on-street parking nearby.

The enclosed courtyard has seating for meals and drinks outside. The shop is within 0.3 miles, the pub within 0.2 miles and the beach within 0.9 miles. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent, and this property does not accept pets.
