Monkleigh Mill

Monkleigh Mill is a house over three floors in the rural village of Monkleigh, near Bideford, with an enclosed front courtyard and steps leading up to the property that may not suit anyone with mobility issues. It sleeps 4 across two ground-floor bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are included, with fuel and power covered in the rent.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor, each a double with a TV and its own en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The first floor holds the kitchen and dining area, and the second floor has the sitting room with a woodburning stove and a Smart TV.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, and there are four TVs, a DVD player, a Nintendo Wii and WiFi through the house. Highchair, travel cot and stairgate are available on request, though the WiFi can be temperamental at times. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.

The enclosed courtyard has furniture and a hot tub, though the hot tub is unavailable from 9 October 2026 until further notice. Off-road parking is available, and the property does not accept pets, smoking, or short breaks during school holidays. The pub is 0.9 miles away and the shop 4.4 miles, with the historic port town of Bideford nearby for a day out.
