Monkbarns

Monkbarns is a smart, single-storey cottage in Brixham, a few yards from the South Devon Coast Path. It has one bedroom with a double bed and its own balcony, sleeping 2, with views over the surrounding town and glimpses of the sea through the trees. A shower room with a shower, WC and washbasin completes the accommodation, and the whole cottage is on one level.

The open-plan lounge and diner sits next to a compact kitchen fitted with an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and hairdryer, alongside a dish washer and washing machine. A TV with DVD player and WiFi cover the sitting area, and central heating runs through the cottage, with a supplement added to any booking starting between 1 November and 28 February.

The bedroom's balcony has a table and chairs, a spot to sit out above the town with those glimpses of the sea. Off-road parking is provided for one car directly at the property.

Monkbarns welcomes one well-behaved dog, charged as an extra fee per stay. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, and bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The shop is around half a mile away and the pub a quarter of a mile, with the beach about 5 miles.
