Magnolia House

Magnolia House, at 20 Dittisham Court, stands in Dittisham, a village on the River Dart around 3.5 miles from Dartmouth. The three-storey house has glimpses of the river from its rural position and off-road parking for one car, with additional visitor parking close by.

Two bedrooms sit on the ground floor, a twin and a single, sharing a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and heated towel rail. The first floor holds an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a balcony reached through patio doors, and external steps lead down from the balcony to a rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture. The king-size bedroom on the second floor has its own en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower over it, so the house sleeps 5 across the three bedrooms.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and a wine chiller, and a Smart TV with WiFi covers the sitting area. Heating runs on oil, with fuel and power included in the rent, and bed linen and towels are provided as part of the stay.

Magnolia House welcomes one well-behaved dog. Confirm the pet policy when booking. Smoking is not permitted. Note the steps down from the balcony to the garden if anyone in the group has limited mobility. The shop is 0.2 miles away and the pub 0.6 miles, and a stroll through Dittisham brings you to a selection of traditional pubs and a Post Office, with Dartmouth itself a short drive or a boat trip down the Dart away, and Totnes around 7 miles.
