This converted barn sits near the village of Swimbridge, close to Barnstaple, and sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. The open-plan lounge is split-level, with a wood burner, Smart TV and comfortable seating, while the kitchen has a farmhouse dining table, electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is a spacious super-king with its own en-suite shower room, WC and a Juliette balcony overlooking the garden. At the opposite end of the property, a second super-king bedroom benefits from dual-aspect light and a Smart TV, and can be converted to a twin on request. Between the two lies a twin room made up of a standard single bed and a day bed that can serve as a second single, useful for a family group. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the sleeping arrangements, along with a separate downstairs WC near the entrance hall.

Outside, a tiered garden to the rear is fully enclosed and includes a patio, decking with sun loungers, garden furniture and a lawn suitable for alfresco dining. A private hot tub sits in its own purpose-built hut with bifold doors, giving shelter whatever the weather. A large enclosed paddock is accessed directly from the garden, ideal for exercising dogs off the lead, and up to three dogs are welcome here, though additional charges may apply.

Practical details worth noting: off-road parking is provided for three cars to the side of the property, and electric vehicle charging is available on site. Internet access is included for those needing to stay connected. Guests should note that a sister property, The Shippen at Upper Yeoland, sits around 200 yards away and can be booked alongside this barn for larger group gatherings. Arrival is from 4pm, with departure required by 10am.
