This four-bedroom home in Westward Ho, near Bideford, sleeps up to eight and sits within walking distance of the beach, a pub and local shops. A hallway leads into an open kitchen/diner fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and a dining table seating eight, while a separate utility room houses the washer/dryer. A WC sits off the hallway, and the lounge offers comfortable sofas and a Smart TV with Sky.

Upstairs there are four bedrooms: a king-size room with an en-suite shower room and WC, a double with glimpses of the sea, and two twins with the option to be pushed together if requested. The main bathroom on this floor has a bath, a separate walk-in shower and a WC.

Outside, the garden is fully enclosed and reached through patio doors from the dining room, with a lawn for games and a patio area with a charcoal barbecue. Parking is available for two cars, and a double garage provides storage for bikes and surfboards alongside a six-foot multitable offering pool, air hockey and table tennis, plus a dart board. Wellies and bodyboards are also kept in the garage for guest use.

Families are well catered for, with a travel cot (guests should bring their own mattress) and a highchair provided. The walk back into town from the property is uphill, which may not suit those with limited mobility, though car parks are available if driving is preferred. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying, and the property is decorated for Christmas over the festive season.
