Loganberry Cottage

Loganberry Cottage sits within a courtyard of nine similar properties near Westward Ho, a short distance from Bideford in North Devon. This two-storey cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms, a double and a twin, with a single bathroom fitted with a shower over the bath and WC.

Inside, a spacious lounge with TV and DVD player opens onto a kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, plus a dining table for meals in. The cottage overlooks the front lawn, which is shared with neighbouring courtyard properties rather than enclosed for private use.

Guests can use a shared outdoor heated swimming pool, measuring 40ft with seating around it, though heating only runs from the last May Bank Holiday week until 1 September and the pool is closed outside these dates. A communal children's play area includes swings, slides and football goal posts, and a charcoal barbecue area with picnic tables is available to all guests staying in the complex. A travel cot and highchair are provided for younger visitors.

Two dogs are welcome, though puppies under six months are not accepted, and a fully enclosed dog exercise field lies within 100 yards for off-lead time. Surrounding farmland offers public footpaths for walks, though dogs must stay on lead near cattle. Off-road parking is allocated for one car, and laundry is handled via a shared, coin-operated utility room rather than an in-cottage washing machine. Arrival is from 3pm and departure before 10am.
