Lilac Cottage

Lilac Cottage sits in the village of Marldon, one of six cottages at Millmans Farm with a communal lawn area, heated swimming pool and garden seating, open from the middle of May to the middle of September. The adults-only cottage sleeps 2, with a private outside space furnished with a table and chairs.

The property has one double bedroom, reached up a narrow staircase, with a bathing area next to it offering a walk-in shower and basin but no upstairs toilet. Downstairs there is a separate cloakroom with basin and WC, and three steps lead down from the driveway to the entrance.

The open-plan living room combines a kitchen, dining and sitting area, fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and hairdryer. A Smart TV with Freeview, a DVD player and WiFi cover evenings in, and electric heating runs throughout, with fuel and power included in the rent.

A shared laundry room provides a washing machine and tumble dryer, and off-road parking is available for 1 car. The shop is 0.4 miles away, the pub 0.2 miles and the beach 2.8 miles. Smoking is not permitted inside, the cottage does not accept worker bookings (holiday stays only), and the low ceilings and narrow stairway make for a non-standard layout.
