Dartmouth Lodge

This lodge stands within the grounds of a working Christmas tree farm on the edge of Marldon, surrounded by open countryside. It is set up for two guests, with a single king-size bedroom leading directly to an en-suite shower room fitted with a walk-in shower and WC.

Inside, the open-plan living space combines lounge, kitchen and dining area under underfloor heating throughout. French doors open into the room, where a wood burner (first logs provided) and Smart TV sit opposite a sofa, with a second Smart TV in the bedroom. The kitchen is fully fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine, and a dining table seats guests for evening meals.

Outside, a paved area includes outdoor dining and seating furniture, a BBQ, and a private sunken hot tub looking out over the surrounding countryside and Christmas trees. Parking is provided on site for one vehicle. Because of a number of external steps, this lodge is not suitable for guests requiring wheelchair access.

One dog is welcome by prior arrangement, subject to an additional charge, and must be kept on a lead and off the furniture throughout the stay. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request, useful for families visiting with a young child. A pub lies around a mile away, with a shop roughly two miles off and a beach some two and a half miles distant, and internet access is available at the property.
