Dittisham Hut

This handcrafted hut sits within Marldon Christmas Tree Farm, on the edge of Marldon, and is set up for two guests sharing the one double bed. Everything is arranged in a single open-plan space combining the lounge, kitchen, dining and sleeping areas, with a wall-mounted Smart TV facing the bed and a wood burner in the corner for cooler evenings, with a first set of logs provided.

The kitchen is compact, fitted with a portable hob, a microwave and a fridge, suited to simple self-catered meals rather than elaborate cooking. A separate shower room with a shower cubicle and WC completes the indoor layout; there is no additional bathroom or WC elsewhere in the hut.

Outside, a seating area looks over a small pond (around 1.5 metres deep), with space for outdoor dining and a BBQ provided for al fresco evenings. Private parking is available for one vehicle only, so guests travelling with a second car should plan accordingly. Internet access is available on site.

One dog is welcome by arrangement, with an additional charge that may apply; dogs must be kept on leads around the grounds and are not permitted on the furniture inside. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, useful for visiting family with young children even though the hut itself sleeps two adults. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
