Honeysuckle Cottage

Honeysuckle Cottage rests on the outskirts of Barnstaple, with countryside views around the property. A light-filled sitting room and a kitchen/diner sit on the ground floor, along with the family bathroom, which has a bath and a wet-room style walk-in shower. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher.

Upstairs, a king-size bedroom and a twin room, made up with a single bed and a pull-out cabin bed, together sleep up to four people. A first-floor cloakroom adds extra convenience. There is no room in the bedrooms for a travel cot, so guests with a baby will need to bring their own arrangements, though a highchair is available on request.

Outside, an elevated seating area is a spot for a morning coffee with a view, and guests can also stretch their legs around the communal garden area. A stream runs through the grounds.

No pets or smoking are permitted. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, though access is via a single-track driveway that can be affected by potholes and flash floods in heavy rain, so drive carefully. The property takes a minimum of two nights, WiFi is limited, electric heating covers the cottage, and the shop is 2 miles away with the pub 1.7 miles.
