Holt Waves

This recently refurbished home sits close to Westward Ho, with the Northam Burrows and the beach reachable on foot. It sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms, making it suited to two families holidaying together or a larger group wanting some separation between floors.

The ground floor is arranged as an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining space, with a Smart TV in the seating area and a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, gas hob, microwave, air fryer and coffee machine. A utility room houses the washing machine, and there is a WC on the ground floor plus another on the half-landing, in addition to the two main bathrooms upstairs. On the first floor a king-size bedroom with a bay window sits alongside a twin room that can be converted to super-king size on request; the top floor repeats this layout with a further king and convertible twin room, with the added height here giving sea views across the burrows.

Outdoors, there are enclosed spaces at both the front and rear of the property. The rear courtyard opens directly from the kitchen, while the larger front garden has raised decking suited to outdoor dining, along with an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, with additional roadside parking available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply, and a travel cot and highchair are supplied for younger guests. Internet access is available at the property. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am, and guests should note that shops, pubs and the beach are all within easy walking distance rather than on the doorstep itself.
