Hillymouth

Two second-floor family bedrooms, each with a double and a single bed, sleep 6 at Hillymouth, an apartment reached through the reception of the main farmhouse at Lincombe, about 2 miles from Ilfracombe on the North Devon coast.

A first-floor bathroom with a bath and shower over serves both bedrooms, and the first-floor open-plan living area has a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a Smart TV. Laundry is shared, with washing machine access in a separate laundry room. Oil central heating keeps the apartment warm, and the kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and a fridge/freezer.

Outside, guests share a lawned garden and patio with a trampoline, lawn games and a barbecue, plus an external games room with a pool table, table tennis, table football and darts, a useful fallback on a wet North Devon day. A cot and highchair are available on request, and there's off-road parking for 1 car. WiFi and a selection of books, DVDs and games are provided indoors.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. A minimum stay of 3 nights applies, towels and bed linen are not supplied, so bring your own, and newspaper or grocery deliveries can be arranged directly with the owner. Hen, stag and similar parties are not accepted, and smoking is not permitted. A shop is 2 miles away and the pub is a 10-minute walk.
