Hillside

Hillside is a three-storey house in Dartmouth, reached by 13 stone steps from the street. It sleeps 5 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a hallway just inside the front door for storing beachwear away from the main living areas.

The open-plan living area has a sofa next to a dining table and the kitchen, which is fitted with an electric oven, a gas hob, a wine cooler, a dishwasher and a washing machine. A multi-level, elevated rear garden with furniture is reached from a split landing on the first floor, and young children should not be left there unattended.

A king-size bedroom and a single bedroom sit on the first floor, next to the family bathroom with a bath and a shower over. A second king-size bedroom with a zip/link option, convertible to twin beds, is up a set of steep steps on the second floor. A separate shower room is on the ground floor.

Hillside welcomes two small or medium dogs. A parking permit for an unallocated space in the Mayors Avenue car park is supplied, around a 10 to 15 minute walk away and not valid during Regatta week, though cars can pull up outside to unload. The shop and pub are 0.4 miles away and the beach is 2.2 miles.
