Garden House

Garden House is a stone cottage on the Gitcombe Estate in Cornworthy, with an open-plan living space finished in hardwood flooring and three striped sofas around a woodburning stove. It sleeps 8 across four bedrooms.

A super-king-size and a double bedroom each have their own en-suite shower room. A twin room with 2'6" beds and an L-shaped cabin bunk room share a family bathroom with a bath and shower over. The bunk beds are for children under 12.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, with a TV and WiFi in the living space. Oil central heating with underfloor heating and the woodburner cover the colder months, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent. A travel cot, high chairs and other baby equipment are available on request.

Outside, an enclosed private terrace has furniture and both a Weber and a built-in barbecue, plus a separate decking area. Guests share the estate's heated indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, sauna, steam room, championship tennis court, table football and a children's adventure playground across 14 acres, with 2 EVC points in the shared parking area behind the cottages; the outdoor pool is usually open from the late May bank holiday to mid-September. Ample off-road parking is available. No pets are allowed and the cottage is no smoking.
