Court Prior Cottage

Court Prior Cottage sits at the heart of Cornworthy village in the South Hams, a renovated stone cottage that keeps its exposed beams and a traditional woodburning stove. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, each with its own en suite.

The king-size double has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, hand-held shower and a separate walk-in shower, basin and WC. The second bedroom is a 4'6 double with an en-suite shower room, basin and WC.

Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines a sitting area, dining space and the woodburning stove, with a good collection of books and board games. The farmhouse kitchen has stone worktops and pine cabinets, with an electric range cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a Nespresso machine, plus a Smart TV and WiFi. Oil central heating and the woodburner cover cooler months, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent.

Outside is an enclosed garden with a dining table for alfresco meals. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and there's an electric car charging point, though additional charges apply for its use. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available for families, and smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop is 2.6 miles and the village pub 0.1 miles.
