Duke's Barn

Duke's Barn is a stone barn conversion in a rural hamlet outside Blackawton, with Dartmouth around 7 miles away. It sleeps 6 across three en-suite bedrooms, each with a king-size, super-king-size or double bed and its own Smart TV. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and up to two well-behaved pets are welcome.

One bedroom is on the ground floor, a super-king-size room with its own bathroom with a free-standing bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC. Upstairs, a double room has an en-suite bathroom and a king-size room has an en-suite shower room, both with plenty of storage. A first-floor study gives a quiet spot to work during a stay.

The open-plan living area has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, warmed by a woodburning stove and heated by oil-fired central heating. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, wine cooler and microwave, and there are four Smart TVs and WiFi throughout the barn.

Outside, an enclosed walled garden has a lawn, a barbecue, a firepit and furniture for dining outdoors, though the surrounding farmland is off limits to guests because livestock is kept there. Smoking is not permitted, the shop is 1.6 miles away and the nearest pub 2.2 miles.
