Devereux's

This four-bedroom property near Littleham sleeps up to eight guests across a first floor of individually styled rooms, each fitted with a television. The main king-size bedroom has its own en suite shower room, while a second king-size room can be converted into twin beds on request. A further twin room and a double complete the layout, with the double and the main family bathroom reached via an internal step, worth noting for anyone unsteady on stairs.

Downstairs, a large reception room is divided by an exposed stone hearth housing a double-sided wood burner, with a dining table on one side and comfortable seating with Sky TV on the other. The kitchen has a slate floor, electric range oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, while a separate utility building holds the washing machine, tumble dryer and a WC.

Outside, a paved terrace leads to a large enclosed lawned garden with a seating area, a BBQ shelter and a private hot tub. A further terrace sits at the front of the property. A separate games room offers a football table and a Playstation 2 with a selection of games, useful for keeping a mixed group entertained on wet afternoons.

Wi-Fi is included, and off-road parking is available for two cars. One dog is permitted, with additional charges possibly applying. A stairgate, two highchairs and two travel cots can be provided on request, and a pub is within walking distance.
