Crystals

Crystals is a single-storey lodge on a holiday park in Highampton, Devon, about 4.4 miles from Hatherleigh. Guests reach the entrance via a short, firm but steep path, and the lodge sleeps 4 across a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a coffee maker, a dining table for four and a sitting area with a TV. The shower room has a shower, basin and WC, and electric heating runs throughout the lodge. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside, the enclosed front decking has furniture and a picnic bench, a good spot for a light lunch in the warmer months, with countryside views over the surrounding fields. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car, and guests can use the park's shared indoor pool. The steep slope up to the lodge means it isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted. The pub is 1.6 miles away and the shop 3.3 miles; WiFi can occasionally be intermittent, and the property's EPC rating is band E. Fuel and power are included in the rent for the stay.
