Courtyard House

Courtyard House is a stone cottage on Clarence Hill in Dartmouth, a few minutes' walk from the waterfront, shops and restaurants. The property sleeps 4 across two en-suite bedrooms on separate floors, above a ground-floor open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. The beaches of Start Bay are a 10-15 minute drive, and the family attraction Woodlands Leisure Park is about four miles away.

The first floor holds a twin bedroom with plenty of storage and an en-suite shower room, and a door from this level leads to a decked balcony with a table and four chairs, a spot for a drink outdoors in the summer. The second floor has a double bedroom with a king-size wooden bed and a fully tiled, contemporary en-suite bathroom.

The kitchen has a four-ring halogen hob, electric oven and grill, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, plus a smart flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player and a CD/radio/iPod player. Heating and hot water run on gas, and broadband is available throughout. Bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are supplied, though guests need their own beach towels, tea towels and oven gloves.

Parking for one car is provided in the courtyard, though Clarence Hill itself is a narrow lane with a 6-foot width restriction and few passing places, so drivers should take care on the approach. Children under 5 are not permitted at the property, making it suited to couples or families with older children, and it is strictly no smoking.
