Columbine

Columbine is a third-floor apartment in Raleigh Court, a development on a Dartmouth side street just yards from the embankment and close to the town's specialist shops, pubs and restaurants. It sleeps four across two double bedrooms and suits guests happy to climb three flights of stairs from the ground floor, as there is no lift.

The open-plan lounge and dining room has a comfortable sofa, armchairs, a dining table and chairs, a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, and a bay window with a window seat gives a partial view of the River Dart, handy for watersports enthusiasts keeping an eye on the water. A modern, well-equipped kitchen sits at the other end of the room, fitted with an electric oven and hob, an integrated fridge-freezer, a microwave, a washing machine and a dishwasher.

Both bedrooms have a double bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over, a wash basin and a w.c., and there is a separate cloakroom with its own w.c. and hand basin just off the hallway.

Heating runs on electric storage heaters, with an immersion heater for hot water. Columbine does not accept pets, and guests need to bring their own tea towels, beach towels and oven gloves, as only bed linen and bath and hand towels are supplied. The apartment is strictly no smoking.
