Coastguard Cottage

This cottage sits in a small hamlet on the Hartland peninsula, within walking distance of Hartland Quay and the South West Coast Path. It sleeps five across three bedrooms and suits family breaks or walking holidays based on the North Devon coast.

The ground floor holds a modern kitchen, a separate dining room and a living room with a wood burner and Smart TV, along with a utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer, and a ground-floor WC. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom, each with countryside views, served by a first-floor bathroom with a shower over the bath and its own WC.

Outside, an enclosed garden includes mature shrubs, sloping lawns and a small covered pond, with a patio area set up with garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. Private parking is provided for one car, and a first basket of logs is supplied for the wood burner along with a welcome pack on arrival.

The cottage is dog friendly, taking up to two dogs with additional charges applying, and a travel cot is available for younger visitors on request. Arrival is from 4pm and departure by 10am, with the nearest shop and pub around two miles away and the beach just over a mile from the door.
