Cider House is a Grade II listed stone barn conversion near the village of Hawkchurch, around 4 miles from Axminster. Exposed stonework and period features run through the sitting room, where an electric fire provides warmth, and the kitchen/diner is arranged for shared meals.

The property sleeps 6 across three bedrooms. A ground-floor twin has its own en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, while a double and a second twin sit on the first floor, sharing a family bathroom with a bath, handheld shower, basin and WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a coffee maker, and there's a Freeview TV and WiFi. Oil-fired central heating covers the barn, and fuel and power are included in the rent, though towels are not provided. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests.

Outside, a private patio has a barbecue and furniture, and children can use a play area shared with a neighbouring property. Off-road parking is provided for 3 cars, with an electric vehicle charging point on site. No pets are allowed, the property is no smoking, and bookings must start on a Friday or a Monday. The shop and pub are both around a mile away.
