Balches Hayloft

Balches Hayloft is a converted hayloft sleeping four, set near Newton Tracey close to Instow in North Devon. The layout suits couples or a small family who don't mind sharing a bathroom, with the double bedroom benefiting from its own en-suite shower room.

Inside, the kitchen and diner is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A few steps lead down into the lounge, where a wood burner effect electric fire, Smart TV and DVD player make for a relaxed evening in. Along the hallway, the second bathroom has a shower over bath and WC, and beyond it sit the two bedrooms: one double and one twin.

Outside, guests have use of a shared garden with lawn, a private gazebo and a charcoal barbecue, ideal for warmer evenings. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and a village pub is within walking distance for those who'd rather not drive after dinner.

One dog is welcome at an additional charge, and a travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests, making this a practical base for a family holiday. Internet access is provided, and towels are included in the stay. Arrival is from 15:30 and departure before 10:00.
