Armada Cottage

Armada Cottage is a traditional 19th-century terraced town cottage a short stroll from the heart of Dartmouth, close to the shops, galleries, restaurants and waterfront. It's reached via a flight of steps from South Ford Road, and access by car is narrow, with a 6-foot width restriction on that stretch of road.

Inside, the refurbished cottage keeps original touches like exposed stone fireplaces. The open-plan living space has two sofas and a wood-burning stove, with double doors onto a paved patio furnished with a table, chairs and a garden bench. A dining table at the rear of the living area seats five. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, a king-size master and a twin room, sleeping 4 in total.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, a four-ring gas hob, electric oven and grill, and a Belfast sink. There's a wall-mounted Smart TV with Freeview, DVD player and WiFi. A shower room with a large walk-in shower sits on the ground floor, with a second shower room upstairs. A highchair, travel cot and stair gate are supplied for young children.

There's no parking at the property itself; a permit is provided for a nearby car park, around a 10-15 minute walk away. Smoking and pets are not permitted, and all bed linen, bath and tea towels are supplied, though guests need their own beach towels.
