Annas Cottage

Set in a wooded valley beside the owner's farmhouse, Annas Cottage accommodates two guests in a single super king-size bedroom with sloping ceilings and enough room for a travel cot. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC, and the lounge-diner features exposed stonework and a woodburner with the first basket of logs included, alongside Sky TV, DVD player and hi-fi.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment, washer-dryer and microwave. An inner hallway provides a practical spot for walking boots, wellies or a dog basket, reflecting how seriously the cottage takes its dog-friendly credentials. Up to five dogs are welcome, with an outside paddock adjacent to the cottage for them to run freely; outdoor kennels can also be arranged by request for additional pets.

The Tarka Trail runs directly adjacent to the property, making it straightforward to head out on foot or by bike from Langtree without needing to drive to a trailhead. The trail passes food stops and pubs along the way. A village shop and pub are around two miles from the cottage, and Westward Ho! beach is approximately ten miles distant.

Outside, a small enclosed garden has seating and a BBQ. A breakfast basket including eggs, bacon and milk can be arranged at a small extra charge. There is no EV charging at the property. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
