Mid-terrace Dartmouth cottage over four floors with a Juliet balcony

Aeolus House is a mid-terrace cottage on Newcomen Road in the centre of Dartmouth, a level walk from the shops, galleries and restaurants along the harbour and the River Dart. The accommodation is spread over four floors, with a ground-floor sitting room that has a leather sofa, chair, LCD TV and DVD player.

Two bedrooms make up the house: a king-size room on the second floor with an en-suite shower room and a sitting area with a Juliet balcony overlooking the River Dart, and a double room on the first floor. A family bathroom with a bath and shower over sits alongside the double room, and a bunk room for one or two children is available on request for an extra charge.

The kitchen and dining room sit on the lower ground floor, fitted with a four-ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer in a separate cupboard, and a hardwood dining table that seats six. Gas central heating covers the house, and an LCD TV with DVD player and WiFi cover evenings in.

Aeolus House takes up to two small dogs, though cats are not permitted. A parking permit for the Park and Ride car park at the top of Dartmouth is supplied, since there is no parking at the house itself. The accommodation spans four floors, so anyone with difficulty on stairs should check with the office before booking, and the cottage is strictly no smoking.
