46 Crowthers Hill

46 Crowthers Hill is a mid-terrace cottage over three floors in Dartmouth, on a steep hill a steep walk from the town centre. It sleeps 4 across a second-floor king-size bedroom and a mezzanine twin bedroom, sharing one bathroom with a roll-top bath and a shower over.

The ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, with a dishwasher and a fridge with an icebox in the kitchen. An enclosed multi-level back garden has raised decking and a more private patio below it, reached by steps.

The second-floor king-size bedroom has views over Dartmouth's rooftops and the harbour, and the mezzanine twin bedroom sits close to the bathroom. Gas central heating and WiFi run through the cottage, and a washer/dryer is fitted in the bathroom.

A public swimming pool and sports centre sit at the top of the hill, and the coastal path opposite the cottage leads straight onto the South West Coast Path. Down at the harbour, a two-minute walk away, guests can catch a ferry to Paignton Zoo, hire a boat on the river, or book a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway to Totnes.

One small, well-behaved dog is accepted on the ground floor only and is not allowed on the furniture, with a stair gate fitted; owners need to bring their own dog bed and accessories. Allocated private parking is provided for one car, with unrestricted parking also available opposite. Bookings run to a minimum stay of three nights, and in October only weekly bookings from a Friday can be taken.
