4 The Pottery

4 The Pottery occupies part of a Grade II listed building once a paper mill, a bakery and a brewery, close to Dartmouth and a short walk from Warfleet Creek. The duplex apartment sleeps 4 across two king-size bedrooms on the lower ground floor, with the open-plan living room, kitchen and dining space on the floor above, warmed throughout by underfloor heating.

One king-size bedroom has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, while the second shares the family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. A cloakroom and utility area sit alongside, and a cot is available for younger guests on request.

The open-plan living space keeps its exposed beams and original stone wall alongside a modern kitchen fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a Smart TV and WiFi throughout. A Juliet balcony brings in extra light, and one allocated parking space is provided for a single car outside the building.

4 The Pottery accepts one small or medium, well-behaved dog, and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. The shop is around 0.8 miles away and the pub 0.7 miles, both an easy walk from the door. From the apartment it is a level stroll into Dartmouth itself, where the harbourside streets hold Dartmouth Museum, Royal Avenue Gardens and the 16th century Bayard's Cove Fort, with Dartmouth Castle a little further along the water.
