3 Glendale Cottages

3 Glendale Cottages is a terraced cottage in the village of Dittisham, a few miles upriver from Dartmouth on the Dart. It sleeps 4 in a double bedroom and a twin room, sharing a bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle, and the staircase up gives glimpses of the estuary on the way.

The open-plan living room has exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace housing a genuine woodburning stove, alongside a kitchen and dining area. Oil central heating backs up the stove, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher and a fridge with an ice box. A Smart TV and bed linen and towels are all provided for the stay.

Outside, a small patio holds a table and chairs for meals in the open air, and a Smart TV with WiFi covers evenings in. A welcome hamper is provided on arrival. No pets are allowed and the cottage is strictly no smoking.

The village pub is 0.1 miles away and the village shop 0.2 miles, both an easy stroll. Parking is in a council-run pay and display car park nearby, with a second option up a steep hill from the cottage for those who prefer it. Dartmouth itself has a wider choice of shops, cafés and restaurants for days when the village doesn't cover it.
