This cottage sits in Kingston, near Bigbury on Sea in South Devon, and sleeps six across three bedrooms. The ground floor has a lounge with sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner, with a first basket of logs included. A utility room off the lounge offers boot and coat storage alongside a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a wet room with shower and WC is also on this level.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, with French doors opening onto the garden for outdoor dining. Upstairs, a double bedroom, a triple room with three single beds and a single bedroom lead off a landing, alongside a bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Steep steps from the single bedroom climb to an attic snug with cushions and a second Smart TV, a spot for older children rather than very young ones or those unsteady on stairs.

Outside, an enclosed cottage garden has a lawn, patio, garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue available on request, suited to morning coffee or an evening drink. Private off-road parking for two cars is provided directly outside the property. A beach is around a mile away and a pub is within walking distance, with a shop a five-minute drive off.

Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying, and a travel cot and highchair can be requested for younger visitors. Arrival is from 4pm and departure by 10am. The property is decorated for Christmas during the festive season, worth bearing in mind for stays booked over that period.
