3 Cumberland Cottages

3 Cumberland Cottages is a Grade II listed, roughly 400-year-old thatched cottage in the village of Ringmore, with Challaborough the nearest of our destination pages. The cottage sleeps 2 in one double bedroom, and requires a minimum stay of three nights, weekly only and starting on a Friday, from May to September.

Downstairs, the living/dining room is built around a woodburning stove, with a Smart TV for evenings in. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, plus a coffee machine. A steep staircase leads up to the double bedroom, so the cottage may not suit guests with limited mobility.

The single bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a heated towel rail. Outside, an enclosed rear courtyard has furniture for spring and summer, and an enclosed front garden has a patio, gravel, shrubs and a bench.

3 Cumberland Cottages does not take pets, and children cannot be accommodated. Parking is on the roadside close to the cottage, on a first come, first served basis. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop is 0.7 miles away with the pub 0.1 miles and the beach 0.8 miles.
