23 Burgh Island Causeway

23 Burgh Island Causeway is a top-floor apartment in Bigbury-on-Sea, close to Challaborough, with fabulous views to the south and west over the sea toward Burgh Island, and at low tide a wide stretch of sand reaching out to it. Big glass doors lead from the oak-floored living space onto a good-sized balcony with a table and chairs.

The apartment sleeps a maximum of 4 guests, including infants, across two en-suite bedrooms, a double and a twin, each with a bath and shower over. The open-plan kitchen has granite work surfaces, a fridge, freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher and microwave, and the living area has a Smart TV with DVD, WiFi and a phone for calls.

Guests share the building's indoor pool, jacuzzi, gym and sauna, though children under 14 are not permitted in the gym or sauna. Underfloor heating covers the apartment, and a restaurant and bar serve food through the day in high season, with reservations recommended.

23 Burgh Island Causeway does not accept pets, and smoking is not permitted. Off-road parking is provided in a single reserved space, and a pub is under a mile away. Check-in is from 4pm, and bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The leisure facilities are open daily from 10am, except on Christmas Day.
