3 Court Cottage, Hillfield Village

3 Court Cottage is one of six holiday homes on the Hillfield Village development, about four miles from Dartmouth, and it sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

The king-size bedroom sits on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom and a whirlpool bath, while the second bedroom is a twin with its own en-suite shower room and doors onto a furnished balcony with rural views over the surrounding countryside. A highchair and a cot are both available for younger guests.

The open-plan living area combines a lounge, dining space and kitchen, fitted with a ceramic hob, fan-assisted oven, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. A flat screen TV with DVD and cinema surround sound, plus WiFi, covers evenings in, and a small private deck with a table and chairs sits off the ground floor. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

On-site parking is available for one or two cars, and guests can use Hillfield Village's shared gardens, all-weather tennis court and children's play area, though barbecues are not permitted anywhere on the development. The tennis court is open all year, though you will need to bring your own rackets and balls.

Dartmouth itself, with its riverside streets and boutique shops, is a short drive away, and the coves and beaches of the Start Bay coastline are within easy reach too. The pub is within a mile, and the cottage is strictly no smoking.
